Competition day. But first, a side note. As more and more of my teammates switch to iphones, I have develeped a pet peeve. The fart application on the iphone drives me nuts. I am now surrounded by artificial fart noises at dinnner, in the car and on the airplanes. I find it inappropriate and immature. [...]

ARE, Sweden (Feb.14) – Hannah Kearney (Norwich, VT) made good on her promise to be back on top of the podium, winning a dual moguls World Cup Saturday to extend her lead in the overall points. Sho Kashima (South Lake Tahoe, CA) finished fourth in the men’s event.

Canadian mogul skiers Jennifer Heil and Alexandre Bilodeau made the most of their home-course advantage Saturday as they grabbed World Cup wins at Cypress Mountain, B.C. The rivalry between American Hannah Kearney and Heil gained more steam at the event as judges gave Heil the win over Kearney for the second week in a row. Kearney, who has yet to miss a podium this season, retains her 45-point lead in the points race, mid-way through the season. Both women have two victories apiece.
