Olympic snowboarder Kelly Clark once again reinforced her place in women’s snowboarding yesterday, taking first in the final stop of the Grand Prix at Killington Resort in Vermont. Clark’s winning run was loaded with a frontside air, backside five, frontside five, backside air, frontside seven, and cab seven.

Ahh, spring break is finally here. And if you are one of the lucky people who plan a ski trip for your spring break, you are most likely counting the days. I mean, what could be better than spending a week at Jackson Hole, Vail, Aspen, Tahoe, Whistler or any of the other amazing ski resorts in North America. No work, endless days on the mountain, apres parties, and let’s not forget that hot Australian snowboard instructor…pretty awesome, right? So, the last thing you want to do is spoil your trip by not being prepared! So, I’m sure this isn’t your first rodeo, but here are some tips to prepare yourself for a week of snow, sun and spring riding!

There’s a beauty to the women’s ASP World Tour events that’s directly traceable to the fact that it’s still a tour and a sport searching for it’s place in the sporting pantheon. But with women like Gilmore and Bartels, and up-comers like Ho, Hareb, and Fitzgibbons, the Women’s ASP World Tour is an organization on the rise.

So maybe we can’t all ski like Sarah Burke. But we can at least try! Last summer ahlivv girl Sarah Burke showed us how. So as we roll into spring, prepare yourself for a little summer ski and snowboard action. Get caught up on some tricks, challenge yourself for next year’s ski and snowboard seasons.

We can’t all make it to the Gold Coast to watch the Roxy Pro Live. But, Roxy’s bringing us the next best thing! Visit the Roxy Pro Site, and watch LIVE as as Quiksilver/Roxy icons Lisa Andersen and Martin Potter commentate thru Round 3.

One plane, four trains, 6 busses, and 48 hours later, we finally arrived at ALTS Bandai Resort around midnight. Since I had missed the practice day for the slopestyle course, I woke up and went straight into my qualifying runs, where I competed with about 50 other girls. I made it through to the next round and then had two perfect practice runs through the course before the semi- finals. Too bad I didn’t ride as well during the contest! I didn’t make it to finals so I had the next few days to just hang out and enjoy myself!

This seasons trend make me think, my closet has all it needs…except (play a round of mad libs here). The exceptions begin with the trends I am all about: boyfriend looks (love loose tees and blazers), big jewelry (not layering until you can’t hold your head up, just antique large!) and summer dresses (easily understood). Now the challenge is making the look to work!…And, ladies, you will agree, this is an art you must master!
