ahlivv Girl Claire Rides with Betty Rides Crew for AllUs Magazine Shoot

Being an amateur rider in the ski and snowboard biz can be pretty tough at times.  I mean, working two jobs just to try and pay your rent in a teeny cabin by the mountain can really challenge your dedication.  The doubles, the late nights and early mornings, just to keep living the dream, and pursuing your ultimate goal of being a pro rider.  And, let’s not forget about those calls from your parents questioning your ‘plan’.  But in the end, waking up on your day off, after just three hours sleep, to go up to the mountain makes it all feel worth it…until the next double anyway!  ahivv Team Rider Claire Hewitt-DeMeyer had one of those wonderful days when all is right in the world and on the mountain yesterday.

  AllUs Colorado Shred Magazine decided that girls who rip just weren’t getting enough love.  So, they called Betty Rides, who then called ahlivv and the collab was born.  Our fabulous Betty Rides rep, Erin Carmichael, brought together seven girls who not only love to snowboard but also love to kill it on their snowboard to travel to Winter Park, Colorado to do a photo shoot for the March edition of AllUs.  Born and bred in Colorado, AllUs has always shown lots of love to the local riders, so obviously we were super stoked to work with them.  Betty Rides was more than game as usual, and Erin ‘made it rain’ by putting it all together in about five minutes…no really.  Here’s the scoop we got from Claire on the day’s activities:

Erin called in her favorite lady shredders for a day of riding and a fun shoot.  She gave each girl a different outfit to show off on the mountain for a full day of snowboarding.  We spent all day hiking the park and taking fun  photos!  I don’t think I have ever gone snowboarding with so many girls.  In the March issue for AllUs magazine they will have a four page spread featuring Betty Rides and ahlivv, and the girls who love those brands.  Betty Rides apparel is comfortable and very  stylish.  They are also continuing to progress their gear to make it a rider’s dream, and making strides to an eco-friendly process.  They have an entire section of their line that is totally eco-friendly, some of which we have at ahlivv…I know because I’ve been scoping it out all season!  I am now in love with the Betty Rides line.  If you are not  able to get a magazine they do post the magazines on line, go to  www.Allusmag.com.
