It is no surprise that the fabulous, bad-ass ladies of Nikita are at the top of our list. So, m eet Kelly Stoecklein! Kelly is the Marketing Director for all of Nikita USA. Nikita is by far one of the sickest brands in women’s action sports, and once you get to know Kelly, you will get why we love Nikita…and Kelly!

What is your favorite part of working for Nikita? The people I get to work with, and meet are awesome. It’s by far my favorite part of the job.

What does the Nikita brand represent to you? Nikita represents a strong-willed, free-spirited, independent woman who knows what she wants and how to get it.

What is Nikita known for? I am constantly being told that women out there love Nikita because it represents women who are not easily categorized, nor willing to be placed in a box. (That’s you ahlivv girls!) It’s known for its edgier, Euro style that breathes some life, color and a new perspective into the US market.

What is your favorite Nikita style or trend this winter? Spring? Outerwear. I love the outerwear. And the spring line is packed with some really fun bikinis that I can’t wait to get my hands on.

Outside of Nikita, what trends are you rocking on the street, at the
beach and on the mountain? On the streets I love denim, large, old tees and a leather jacket. At the beach I can’t complain in a little sun dress and a big hat and tons of sunscreen. On the hill I am in Nikita outerwear of course, and for the après I’m a big fan of the casual look: leggings, sweater and boots.

What are your 2 favorite brands, besides Nikita, of course? I am a sucker for vintage finds and thrift stores. Old tee shirts are some of my favorite finds. For newer brands I love Olivia and Alice and BB Dakota

What did you want to be when you grew up? A pilot.

If you could talk to the younger you, what life advice would you give
her? Don’t stress, it will all get done in the end.

If only we could all know then what we know now right? What is your job really like? It’s different depending on the time of year. In the winter months I am usually running around going to events, photoshoots, tradeshows, etc. In the summer I get to relax a bit more and kick it in San Francisco at the office and home more. Both times of year are great.

Have you ever been to Iceland? I have been once. It’s amazing with such a surreal landscape and the most amazing people ever. I highly suggest going for a visit if you get the chance.

­­I would definitely love to make the treck! So, what are your top 2 Nikita Picks for this season? Antares short dress…Cute! And the Elnath sweater.

I must admit it is one of my faves this season as well…I love the purple! So is it Snow or Sand? Why? I really can’t choose! I grew up in the snow and will always love it but sometimes you just need to kick off your shoes and run down the beach.
