As I sat in the movie theatre on Christmas Day waiting for Marley and Me to start (my husband and I read the book, and had the date on our calendar for months), I discovered that Confessions of a Shopaholic was being made into a movie. I must admit, it was all I could do not to stand up in the theatre and scream ‘Yahooooo’, while I pumped my fist in the air.

Thankfully, for my family, I restrained myself. But, as any true shopper and lover of fashion should be, I’m pretty psyched for the movie to come out. Earth shattering?…Mmmm, no. But it certainly is fun. Listening to main character Rebecca rationalize her ridiculously overpriced and excessive purchases as ‘investments’, and seeing her moments of pure insanity at the site of a pair of designer shoes, you cant help but love her. And, what stylish lady has not experienced a moment of insanity when it comes to shopping. This will be a really fun movie, especially with Isla Fisher leading…she plays a great crazy!
