ASP 2009 Women’s World Tour Announces Surfers
The ASP Women’s World Tour, which kicks off February 28th on the Gold Coast, has
announced its roster of all-star women who will compete both for ASP World Title, including Stephanie Gilmore, who has held the title for the last 2 years. The ASP Tour is credited with bringing the surf competition from city beaches and big audiences in the heat of the summer, to prime surf locations at peak swell season. The ASP is the top governing body of pro surfing, and it’s World Tour brings the top 17 women in the world together to compete at exotic surf locations around the world. This year’s lineup is no exception.
